Cars belonging to the Hollywood legend, Steve McQueen, will be auctioned at Mecum Daytime Auction House in Monterey, California, United States (US) on 13 to 15 August.

The car in question is the Porsche 930 produced in 1976. Later, as reported by Autoblog, a portion of the proceeds will be donated for McQueen's alma mater.

"This car is rich in history," said Chad McQueen child. Moreover, according to Chad, this car is the last car of her father who died in the 1980.

In addition to their one car, the buyer also will get a certificate of authenticity from Porsche, repair records, manuals and original sales brochure.
