Stuttgart - Porsche, the German car manufacturer, is reportedly finalizing plans to produce the new car. This plan was developed to meet the surge in demand for luxury vehicles and sporty.
Launch 4 Wheels News, Chief Executive of Porsche, Matthias Mueller, stated that they would soon publish a new model that is expected to be available in the market in 2020.
Porsche is considering mengelurkan electric cars that enable them to meet environmental regulations and also compete with other manufacturers, such as Tesla.
The German manufacturer also said that they might offer brake variant of the Panamera models. In addition, Porsche also consider creating a new sports car capable of challenging the dominance of Ferrari.
Demand for luxury cars is being increased. Porsche itself recorded an increase of 34 percent in February compared with the same month in the previous year.
According to Mueller, the current car manufacturers generally will continue to concentrate on building the engine and handling, instead of developing the technology that allows vehicles otonomos.
